Swimming Pools

                                  At its January 19, 2009 meeting, the Village Board

                          approved ordinance 09-01 amending the Municipal Code regarding

                          swimming pools. Although the Municipal Code had always prohibited

                          above ground swimming pools, it contained some misleading

                          language pertaining to above ground, above grade and portable

                          swimming pools. Ordinance 09-01 specifically addresses and eliminates

                          this misleading language; it also provides for a 5-year amortization of

                          existing above ground swimming pools.
